Personal Note:  St Dymphna of the Mentals can be seen as derogatory. That is not my intention. My intention is quite the opposite. Insanity can lead to breaking conditioned perceptions of the world. We are conditioned by our societies, institutions, and religions to think a certain way.  I called it conditioned insanity. Society requires a sort of mass hallucination in order to run. For example, money: agreement on the value of a coloured piece of paper in exchange for items of real value like food or energy. Another example is religion. Most religions require their herds to believe in deities with magical capabilities like omniscience and omnipotence. Or virgin births.  My endeavour with St. Dymphna of the Mentals is to bring artistic social commentary with humour and poignancy.
